According to detention center records, Brown, aged 57, was processed Thursday in the morning on a charge of attempted homicide in connection with a stabbing incident that transpired in Las Vegas.
The purported occurrence unfolded at All American Park amidst a dispute concerning a supposed “scratch” on a car door. According to KSNV NBC Las Vegas, it is alleged that Brown stabbed the individual involved in the abdomen during the course of the altercation.
Brown, also recognized by his middle name, Marselles, is said to have left the location after the event but was subsequently taken into custody after being located by law enforcement officials. As per TMZ reports, the individual, who is a coach for a youth football team, was transported to a nearby medical facility for surgical intervention due to the inflicted injuries.
The individual involved communicated to Las Vegas authorities that they are presently in serious condition following injuries to their back, clavicle, and hands from the stabbing. Furthermore, it was indicated that the individual sustained a fractured rib during the alleged assault.

The partner of the injured party testified that as they were parking, another vehicle, an SUV, occupied the adjacent spot, and the occupant of that vehicle made contact with their own upon exiting. Following a spoken exchange, it’s claimed that Brown pursued the injured party.
She communicated to law enforcement that Brown “moved his arm in a forward-stabbing action and made contact with [the partner] in the back.” Another eyewitness reportedly made it known to the police that they observed Brown wielding a blade “25 times” towards the individual.
Brown, recognized for his prior boxing record of 33-18-1, is slated to be present in the judicial court on Thursday. According to reports from TMZ, Jaylen Brown “does not maintain a close bond with his father and possessed no knowledge of the arrest or event.”
Brown has dedicated his entire nine-year career to the Celtics. Throughout the span of the 2024-25 season, Brown maintained averages of 22.2 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 4.5 assists, while achieving a shooting accuracy of 46.3% from the field.
