
FlyQuest has revealed intentions for a charitable drive to coincide with the League of Legends World Championships, partnering with the defending champions, T1.
The professional gaming organization will contribute funds to a pair of selected non-profit entities, the sum determined by both its own performance and that of T1 throughout the competition held in China.

FlyQuest detailed a plan to donate $5 for each minute of gameplay involving either team. To illustrate, should T1 accumulate 595 minutes of playtime during Worlds, FlyQuest will pledge $2795 to their designated cause. Furthermore, for each increment of 10,000 new followers gained by FlyQuest, the donation rate will increase by $1.
FlyQuest has opted to direct its donations towards the Alveus Sanctuary, a refuge for wildlife established by streamer Maya Higa, which also provides education in conservation online. In addition, a contribution will be made to the charity selected by T1, with details to be ‘announced shortly.’ The amount will be connected to the team’s results, which are anticipated to be exceptional given their status as champions from Worlds 2024.
Worlds 2025 So Far
The League of Legends World Championships in 2025 stands as the paramount event within the MOBA game’s competitive circuit, serving as a stage where elite teams from around the globe vie for the title of best in the world.
Scheduled from October 14th to November 9th, a total of 17 teams, including T1 and FlyQuest, have earned their place in the competition.
The participating teams will compete for the majority share of a total prize fund of $5 million (~£3.7 million), with the team securing first place taking home $1 million (~£748,000). The matches will take place across various locations in China, encompassing cities such as Chengdu, Shanghai, and Beijing.
As of the current moment, the tournament’s Swiss Stage is in progress, requiring teams to engage in five rounds with the objective of accumulating the maximum number of victories possible to advance as one of the eight teams into the Knockout Stage. The initial round is nearing its completion, with FlyQuest having been defeated by T1.
