The head coach of AC Milan, Stefano Pioli, has stated that American attacker Christian Pulisic is healthy and prepared to play again after recovering from a hamstring issue this coming weekend.
On October 17, Pulisic sustained a minor strain to his right hamstring during the first half of the U.S. men’s national team’s 2-1 exhibition game triumph over Australia.

Pioli stated in his press conference on Friday that Pulisic will be available for Milan’s match against Parma on Saturday.
“Pulisic is back with us; he’s feeling well and is ready to play,” Pioli said.
Even though he is fit again, Pulisic was not included on Julian Nagelsmann’s squad for the USMNT’s friendlies against Paraguay and Uruguay on November 15 and November 18.
Nagelsmann stated that Pulisic was not selected “so that he could fully recover.”
Pulisic’s comeback will be a significant boost for Milan. The 27-year-old has had a strong season thus far, scoring six goals in eight games across all competitions.
Milan enters the match against Parma in third place in the Serie A standings, trailing defending champions Napoli by just one point.
“The atmosphere at Milanello is fantastic; we need to keep our feet on the ground, stay strong, and remain composed even when things don’t go as planned,” said Pioli, who took over as Milan coach from José Mourinho in the summer.
“Our main objective is still to qualify for the Champions League. The season is long, and there are many tough opponents, so we will work hard, get better, and then see where we stand from March onward.”
In addition to providing an update on Pulisic, Pioli also mentioned that Mexican forward Santiago Gimenez and French midfielder Adrien Rabiot will be able to return from their injuries following the November international break.
