Valve has revised the visual design of the sticker for Imperial Esports in their most recent refresh of Counter-Strike 2 (CS2).

The adjustment to the Brazilian competitive gaming organisation comes in response to criticism regarding the initial emblem, which displayed the Gamdom symbol.

The update released on November 14th for the first-person shooter game altered the Imperial Esports sticker to feature the organisation’s standard emblem. This prevents the digital betting platform’s branding from being shown as part of the Budapest Major sticker collection.

It is worth mentioning that Valve did not specify the rationale for the revision; however, the release of the patch aligns with negative responses from the user base.

In addition to modifying the sticker’s look, the update resolved a problem that caused the Budapest 2025 in-game medal not to appear on the results display during matches.

The assessment procedure for sticker designs has continued to be a frequently discussed subject among the Counter-Strike player base. Before the sticker collection was made accessible, several players participating in the Major voiced their dissatisfaction with rejected designs.

Stickers represent a vital element of Counter-Strike’s Major tournaments, giving competitive gaming organisations and players earnings created from sticker sales.

Gamdom acts as a financial backer for Imperial Esports and continues to financially support the organisation’s Counter-Strike endeavors. In August, the two entities worked together to introduce a European training squad as part of their international growth strategies.

The Major Approaches

The StarLadder Budapest Major, set to occur from November 24th to December 14th, 2025, constitutes the concluding CS2 competition of the year. Imperial Esports stands as one of 32 squads contending in the Hungarian capital for the possibility of securing a portion of a $1.25m (~£952,375) reward fund.

This competition signifies a fresh period for the Major. For the initial occasion, a best-of-five title match will establish the victor.
