Global competitive gaming group Team Liquid has announced the introduction of a virtual uniform inside EA Sports FC 26.
Designed in partnership with the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF), the uniform is intended to promote understanding of the aid organisation’s focus on learning opportunities and the rights of young people.
Available from December 3rd, 2025, it represents the inaugural instance of the UNICEF symbol being presented on an esports team’s uniform within EA Sports FC 26. This cooperation is a component of a broader alliance between Team Liquid and UNICEF, which commenced on November 7th.
Gamers can acquire the uniform through completion of a task within EA Sports FC 26’s Ultimate Team mode. As stated in an official announcement, the uniform’s development ‘offers gamers a contemporary, noticeable means of championing youth rights within the globe’s most well-known soccer simulation.’
“Numerous distinguished soccer teams have committed their uniforms to the aid of UNICEF, and it’s an honour to join their numbers in a manner that’s genuine to competitive gaming and general gaming,” expressed Victor Goossens, Founder and co-CEO of Team Liquid.
“Our EA FC division will also be showcasing the electronic uniform on the digital field, and we’re projecting another season filled with championships.”
Team Liquid In 2025
During 2025, Team Liquid has maintained its progress across the competitive gaming and broader gaming landscapes. During May, the organisation obtained Team Gullit, an EA Sports FC squad named in honour of soccer icon Ruud Gullit to fortify its activities within this domain.
November marked the organisation’s re-entry into Apex Legends esports through a collaboration with Alienware. The team is prepared to participate in the Apex Legends Global Series Championship occurring during the early portion of 2026.
The partnership between Team Liquid and UNICEF persists with the latter’s objective of heightening understanding of youth rights and access to education across the globe. Recently, Dutch soccer player and UNICEF representative Xavi Simons participated in an online fundraising event to communicate the significance of the rights of young people and opportunities for learning.
