Crazy Raccoon’s Competitive History in Overwatch

The organization initiated its entry into competitive play in April 2024, acquiring the unattached team WAC, which included past Overwatch League competitors and the 2023 champion, CH0R0NG.

This organization joined the esports landscape precisely when Blizzard Entertainment introduced OWCS, succeeding the Overwatch League. Throughout the years, Crazy Raccoon has adjusted its player lineup multiple times, yet it continues to be recognized as a formidable competitor across both the Asian continent and worldwide.

During 2024, the squad secured victories in the Asia Stage 1 Main Event and the 2024 Major, subsequently triumphing in the Overwatch competition at the 2024 Esports World Cup. Following top-three placements in Stages 2 and 3, the team ultimately achieved a runner-up position in the OWCS 2024 World Finals.

Crazy Raccoon maintained its victorious streak into 2025, claiming Korea Stage 1 and earning second place at the Asia Stage 1 Main Event. Subsequently, the team bested Team Falcons with a 4-2 score at the 2025 Champions Clash held in Hangzhou, China. The squad proceeded to win Korea Stages 2 and 3, though their performance at the Midseason Championship of the 2025 Esports World Cup saw them finish between fifth and eighth place.

The organization concluded its 2025 season by advancing to the World Finals at DreamHack Stockholm, where they secured a third-place finish while Twisted Minds claimed the championship title.

For 2026, Crazy Raccoon received recognition as an OWCS partner team within the Asian region, leading to an invitation to the OWCS 2026 Pre-Season Bootcamp. At this event, a live competition took place, where the team achieved a runner-up spot, having been defeated by Twisted Minds.

It remains to be seen if Crazy Raccoon will once more make it to the World Finals this year, and whether the squad has the capability to triumph and claim the ultimate championship.
