Ultimately, the Russian fighter displayed his resolve during the final five minutes, controlling Garry throughout the fifth round to guarantee his victory.
Serving as the co-main event of UFC 330 was a women’s strawweight championship clash matching Mackenzie Dern against Gillian Robertson. The matchup saw a commanding display by Mackenzie Dern. The champion consistently outmatched her challenger on the feet as well as on the canvas throughout their 25-minute encounter, comfortably earning a unanimous decision on the judges’ scorecards.
Once the event wrapped up, UFC representatives confirmed during the post-fight press conference that four individual athletes had secured performance bonus checks.
