Chris Haynes of NBA on Prime shared on Friday evening that Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and the Memphis Grizzlies are currently finalizing a contract buyout.
Following the move, the veteran is expected to sign with the Philadelphia 76ers in free agency.
During his last campaign, the 33-year-old guard registered averages of 8.4 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game, appearing in 51 contests while converting 41.0% of his field goals and 31.6% of his attempts from beyond the arc.
According to Haynes: “Sources indicate that Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and the Memphis Grizzlies are in buyout talks, with the seasoned 3-and-D player planning to reunite with LeBron James by joining the Philadelphia 76ers.”
