Among British competitors, Raducanu secured direct inclusion in the main draw as the sole representative, while special invitations were extended via wildcards to Katie Boulter, Francesca Jones, Harriet Dart, and the young player Mika Stojsavljevic.
Williams, having received a special entry into the event, is set to team up with the Canadian adolescent Mboko for the women’s doubles matches.
The veteran athlete, aged 44, had previously announced a gradual departure from the sport in 2022; however, she has now chosen to make a comeback, articulating that Queen’s Club represents an “ideal setting to commence this fresh phase”.
The prestigious Wimbledon tournament, a venue where Williams has claimed seven singles championships and seven doubles championships, is scheduled to commence three weeks following the Queen’s event.
In the men’s singles draw, other players ranked within the top 20 who are participating alongside De Minaur include Lorenzo Musetti, Jiri Lehecka, Luciano Darderi, and Valentin Vacherot.
Additionally, emerging talents Jakub Mensik and Rafael Jodar are set to compete.
