Following his victory over Songchainoi Kiatsongrit, which secured him a chance at a ONE World Title, Numsurin Chor Ketwina is now set to confront Songchainoi again. The two will resolve their unfinished business on June 26 at Lumpinee Stadium.
The upcoming ONE Friday Fights 160 will feature Numsurin squaring off against Songchainoi in an atomweight Muay Thai rematch. This event will be broadcast live from Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on Friday, June 26.
When they first competed at ONE Friday Fights 122, the bout served as an eliminator for a ONE World Title. Numsurin achieved a significant surprise victory, knocking Songchainoi down with a counter left hook during the second round and ultimately securing a majority decision.
This triumph propelled him towards a contest for the inaugural ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Title against Nadaka, a match he lost by unanimous decision. Conversely, Songchainoi recovered from his defeat by winning against Salai Htan Khee Shein and later gave Nadaka a tough five-round fight at ONE SAMURAI 1 in April. As they approach ONE Friday Fights 160, both competitors require a decisive win to reignite their pursuit of championship status.
The event’s lineup is rounded out by three additional contests. The renowned Thai fighter, Yodkhunpon Sitmonchai, is scheduled for his first appearance in ONE Championship, facing Semih Sah Cindir from Turkey in a bantamweight Muay Thai bout. Yodkhunpon brings a record of 104 career wins and previous K-1 championship experience to Lumpinee. Sah Cindir holds a record of 24 wins and 8 losses and recently secured a split-decision victory against Wang Penghui at ONE Friday Fights 154.
Muangthai PK Saenchai and Panrit Lukjaomaesaiwaree are poised to dominate ONE Friday Fights 160
The bantamweight Muay Thai encounter between Muangthai PK Saenchai and Panrit Lukjaomaesaiwaree has the potential to be the most captivating match of the entire event. Both combatants are known for their finishing abilities, their willingness to engage directly, and their unyielding forward pressure.
Muangthai boasts 10 wins within the promotion and a total of 207 career triumphs. Known as the “Elbow Zombie,” he has established his fame through thrilling clashes and impressive concluding moves. Panrit, on the other hand, is currently in peak performance.
Consecutive victories against Nakrob Fairtex and Krisana Dowdenmuaythai at ONE Friday Fights 152 have given him his strongest momentum yet. Considering their fighting approaches, this bantamweight confrontation could readily be declared the standout match of the evening.
