Stephen Curry Possibly Ending Under Armour Partnership.

The collaboration between basketball icon Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors and Under Armour is concluding their established agreement, according to announcements made by both entities on Thursday.

Curry Brand, Curry’s individual project, will proceed as a separate entity. While his footwear line will continue its releases through Under Armour until 2026, he is now set to explore other options in the sneaker industry.

Curry transitioned from Nike to Under Armour in 2013, making the switch a few seasons into his NBA journey, preceding his ascension to MVP status and worldwide recognition.

“Early in my professional life, Under Armour demonstrated confidence in my abilities and provided an opportunity to develop something significantly larger and more influential than just a shoe,” Curry expressed in a press statement. “I will forever value their support.”

It’s anticipated that Curry will have the flexibility to represent various brands in the upcoming year and explore potential new collaborations, as reported by ESPN’s Shams Charania.

“The principles that define Curry Brand, my personal values, and my dedication to that goal will remain unwavering,” Curry stated in the press release. “In fact, they are becoming more pronounced. I am enthusiastic about a future characterized by ambitious expansion and a continued pledge to support future generations.”
