Acclaimed tennis icon Bjorn Borg voiced his sentiment of “I hope I’m gonna be OK” after receiving an “extremely aggressive” prostate cancer diagnosis.
He communicated to BBC Breakfast’s Tim Muffett his resolve to “fight every day like it’s a Wimbledon final”.
Borg, who was formerly the world’s top player, clinched 11 Grand Slam championships, which included five consecutive Wimbledon triumphs, before making an unpredicted exit from the sport at 25 years old.
