FlyQuest Sustains Esports Drive Throughout 2026

FlyQuest commenced its 2026 competitive season at the LCS 2026 Lock‑In event, a tournament where North American squads vied for initial seasonal impetus and qualification for First Stand. The team had a strong start, securing a 2–0 victory over Shopify Rebellion on January 25th, followed by a narrow 2–1 win against Disguised Esports in the Swiss Stage.

Nevertheless, their performance encountered difficulties as the competition progressed. FlyQuest suffered a close 1–2 defeat to Cloud9, subsequently enduring a 0–3 loss against the identical opponent in the Playoffs. In the end, their Lock‑In participation concluded following a 0–3 setback to LYON on February 21st in the Lower Bracket Quarterfinals.

Established in 2017, FlyQuest holds its position as a prominent League of Legends esports entity within North America, having accumulated prize money exceeding $1.16 million.

The current player lineup includes Ibrahim ‘GaKGoS’ Bulut in the Top lane, Johnson ‘Gryffinn’ Le in the Jungle, Song ‘Quad’ Soo‑hyung as Mid-laner, Fahad ‘Massu’ Abdulmalek in the Bot lane, and Micheal ‘Cryogen’ Luu as Support. The squad operates under the guidance of head coach Thomas ‘Thinkcard’ Slotkin and strategic coach Apollo ‘Apollo‘ Price.

Anticipating future engagements, FlyQuest is scheduled to participate in the LCS 2026 Spring Split, running from March 28th to June 7th, the Esports World Cup 2026 North America Qualifier between April 14th and 29th, and the LCS 2026 Summer Split during July.
