UFC middleweight titleholder Sean Strickland has a desire for the NHL’s Vegas Golden Knights to assist him in fulfilling an item on his personal wish list.

This month, Strickland recently regained the UFC middleweight championship by inflicting Khamzat Chimaev’s initial professional defeat at UFC 328.
While Strickland gets ready for a possible championship rematch versus leading challenger Nassourdine Imavov, the controversial UFC personality remains engaged and frequently trains in sparring sessions at Xtreme Couture. Not far from Xtreme Couture, the NHL’s Vegas Golden Knights are currently engaged in their playoff campaign and stand just a few victories shy of securing a position in the Stanley Cup Final.

Through a recent post on Twitter, Strickland conveyed a statement directed at the Vegas Golden Knights organization.
“I genuinely desire to engage in a boxing match with a hockey athlete,” Strickland stated.
“This particular aspiration is part of my personal checklist, yet it must transpire on an ice surface to ensure equitable conditions [LAUGHS]. Golden Knights, designate your champion.”
At the current moment, the official social media profiles of the Knights have not yet provided a reply to the challenge put forth by Strickland.
Should Strickland’s proposition be embraced, he would need to contend with numerous physical ailments sustained throughout his victory at UFC 328. Furthermore, Strickland incurred a shoulder ailment mere days prior to the scheduled bout, a fact he disclosed in a widely circulated behind-the-scenes video.
Notwithstanding his various health issues, Strickland appears resolute in his intention to participate in a boxing contest against one of the Knights’ team members, all while getting ready for his return to the Octagon toward the close of this year.
