North Zone squeeze West Zone after setting a first-innings total of 251
Earlier in the match, North Zone won the toss and chose to bat, eventually being bowled out for 251 runs in 66.5 overs. While their top-order batsmen failed to construct deep partnerships, Ayush Badoni shifted the momentum with a brisk, aggressive 51 off just 57 deliveries. Later, Anshul Kamboj provided a crucial lower-order boost, hammering a rapid 60 runs off 52 balls—including five massive sixes—to guide his team past the 250-run threshold.
On the bowling front, West Zone performed admirably, led by Tushar Deshpande and Tanush Kotian, who both bagged four wickets. Unfortunately, their batting unit struggled to back up that effort.
