Announced by Rated in a social media update on September 25th, 2025, Gen.G is now among the latest esports businesses to move into Call of Duty’s battle royale game. The business is part of a group of 15 which are presenting an active roster at the game’s conclusion of season event happening in Las Vegas, Nevada, on October 1st.

Rated is very familiar with the environment of Call of Duty esports, having played in the Call of Duty World League (CWL) for various teams, including Red Reserve, Denial Esports, and Splyce. In 2020, the Welsh competitor stood for the London Royal Ravens in the Call of Duty League (CDL).

This certain set of three participants has been active in Warzone esports since June. In August, it had a seventh place result at the Esports World Cup 2025, taking home $43,000 (~£32,203) in reward money.

Gen.G’s move into Warzone signifies the business’s coming back to Call of Duty. In 2019, it put forward a North American list in the CWL Pro League, achieving a best four result in the standard season.

Gen.G’s Continuous Enlargement

Gen.G has been reinforcing its status as one of the most prevalent esports businesses across the world through new contracts and active rosters in new games.

In September, the business revealed its new Marvel Rivals active roster before Ignite Stage 2 after letting go of four players in August.

Other than its esports active rosters, it has partnered with the likes of McDonald’s as a feature of its Campus Takeover initiative, looking to provide students with chances to interact with experts within the market.

In other places, it went into partnership with Theta Labs in June in a deal that presented its image to people in the form of an AI-based chatbot.
