“Our financial plan has been scaled back. As you may have observed, broadcast discussions are no longer part of our programming,” Malignaggi stated during an appearance on Paulie TV.
“We have reduced spending in an effort to remain viable, ensuring ongoing functionality and operational continuity.”
Furthermore, Malignaggi communicated that ProBoxTV intends to scale back its event calendar to a single show monthly, a decrease from its present frequency, as a measure to curb expenditures.
The ex-titleholder across two weight classes expressed the organization’s aspiration that its subscriber-based system would facilitate ongoing operations, enabling the continuous delivery of boxing programs and live broadcasts.
“We are slated to present one event each month. We will persist in delivering high-caliber bouts, yet we require your patronage,” Malignaggi declared.
A particularly significant aspect of the declaration emerged as Malignaggi addressed the platform’s sustained viability should subscriber figures not align with projections.
“Should we fail to secure sufficient subscriber levels to maintain operations, ProBox will cease to exist permanently,” Malignaggi asserted.
“Our operations will conclude by the close of the year unless we receive the requisite public enthusiasm and backing.”
Launched in 2022, ProBoxTV carved out a niche as a consistent provider of matches for rising talents, challenger contests, and dedicated boxing commentary shows. The service has showcased insights and evaluations from numerous respected personalities within the sport, concurrently organizing events across the North American continent.
ProBoxTV is set to proceed with its revised operational framework. However, Malignaggi underscored that the ongoing existence of the platform is critically contingent upon the willingness of boxing enthusiasts to back the service once subscription access commences in August.
