In Sunday’s Lexus Wrexham Open singles final, British teen Hannah Klugman is set to compete against French player Elsa Jacquemot.
The 17-year-old Klugman secured her place in the most significant fixture of her career so far by defeating fellow countrywoman Jodie Burrage 6-1, 6-4 in the semi-finals.
Her opponent, Jacquemot, booked her place in the title match following a 6-2, 7-6 victory over Dutch player Suzan Lamens.
Nevertheless, Klugman was unable to reach both the singles and doubles championship matches, as she and her partner Daniella Britton suffered a 7-6, 6-4 semi-final defeat to British duo Freya Christie and Eden Silva.
Christie and Silva will now go up against the fourth-seeded pair of Hiroko Kuwata and Ankita Raina in the deciding match.
