Sent in to bat first, the Falcons found it difficult to establish any rhythm. Khary Pierre struck crucial early blows by removing both Rahkeem Cornwall and Karima Gore, while Imran Tahir subsequently claimed the wicket of Hasan Nawaz. Although Amir Jangoo offered some resistance with a top score of 37 from 29 deliveries, wickets kept tumbling for the Falcons.
